Put on by the same people that do LaureLive, I knew this was going to be good. Saturday had a great crowd, attracting more people than LaureLive did in it’s first year. The setup was great, too, as the stages were near enough to each other that you didn’t have to haul a huge way away to get to any of the 3 stages. Highlights of the day for me were hanging out with Trombone Shorty and his band (and getting my photo with Shorty, as i am NEVER in any with musicians (by my choice)), seeing Castlecomer and Magic Giant, both great bands that are friends, seeing Ben Harper, and having to retrace my steps at the end of Sunday night to find my lost phone 😉
