Coming into my 4th straight LaureLive (I have been to them all), I was looking forward to it as I was now their MAIN photographer, with access to everything at the festival. After getting my credentials, I was set for 2 long (but fun) days of great music! I was REALLY looking forward to seeing Trombone Shorty again, anxious to see Castlecomer for a full set, and checking out Rodrigo y Gabriela, who are the most amazing guitarists. NONE of those bands let me down from my expectations. Nor did the Vindys, one of the hottest bands in Cleveland right now. They will be on the main stages of festivals VERY soon at the rate they are going.
Besides all of the great music I got to hear, had a great time getting to hang out with Trombone Shorty for a little, and even ended up having a small dinner with Sheryl Crow.
I may have put 13 miles on my fitbit over 2 days, and ended up exhausted, it was quite a fun time.
